Six days of mourning that is observed in [[Heorot]]. Traditionally, a [[Ceremony of Mourning|mourning ceremony]] is held in [[Karvargr's Barrow]] on the first day and a lively festival is held in [[Gwenborg]] on the last day. The week mourns the loss of [[Karvargr]] and the great destruction that befell the once great [[Heorot (city)|city of Heorot]]. It also celebrates the renewal of hope and the reconstruction that was started by [[Gwendolyn]].

The week is observed differently by each family and in each town. Some common themes are wearing all black, skipping meals, and covering one's face.
