After the monsters spread, he founded the great city of Heorot, the largest city in the world.
Bel (Archdevil) came to attack the town, and was killed by Karvargr. Impressed by his strength and upset at the loss of a powerful general, Zariel came to fight him as well before also being killed.
Many years later, a blue greatwyrm attacked the town of Heorot, destroying its walls. Karvargr managed to defeat the greatwyrm, but took fatal damage in turn. With the walls destroyed, monsters tore down city.
The greatwyrm was defeated nearby a headland (costal area with a sheer drop to the ocean). A burial mound was erected upon the greatwyrm and Karvargr's corpses and a new city was founded there named Karvargr's Barrow.
