heorot

A small hub of cities with Karvargr's Barrow at the core and the other cities as economic spokes.

All of the cities are physically separated, but each spoke city has a permanent magic circle that goes to and from Karvargr's Barrow.

Each magic circle is protected and travel between the cities is tracked with each traveler needing a Herotian Crest which acts as identification.

People are not allowed to bring anything dangerous through the circle except for guards, weapons traders (who can only bring weapons that are for sale), and adventurers in good standing with both the guild and the target city.

The vast majority of the people of the federation worship the Old Heroes in ritualized Hero Worship, except for the people of Duneyrr who mostly worship local nature spirits. There also exists some minority worship of several unique deities.
