week_of_mourning
Six days of mourning that is observed in Heorot. Traditionally, a mourning ceremony is held in Karvargr's Barrow on the first day and a lively festival is held in Gwenborg on the last day. The week mourns the loss of Karvargr and the great destruction that befell the once great city of Heorot. It also celebrates the renewal of hope and the reconstruction that was started by Gwendolyn.
The week is observed differently by each family and in each town. Some common themes are wearing all black, skipping meals, and covering one's face.
